Quite simply, that is our unwavering belief and the guiding principle that has shaped our architectural practice. We start and end each day gratified in our mission of making a difference in the quality of life for seniors.

As advocates for senior living, we are grounded in sensitive gerontological design that values age, respects wisdom and provides choices. We are passionate about advancing the field of senior living design and remain at the forefront of the evolving application of wellness as a design principle in architecture.

 We believe in the shift from a traditional model of healthcare design to a person-centered model, moving the emphasis from illness to wellness, and from disability to ability. By integrating sunlight, natural materials, outdoor features, connected community spaces and more, our precisely-tailored solutions help mend body, mind, and spirit.  

 We were one of only 12 architecture firms in the country selected by Planetree to become a member of its Visionary Design Network. For us, this honor is particularly significant because it demonstrates our commitment to the holistic wellbeing of patients, residents, their families, and to the people who care for them.

 While we have evolved over 40 years, transforming our clients’ visions into exceptional spaces and experiences that improve how people feel and function has remained unchanged.
